Re: 2018 War & Peace Revival visit
A real highlight for me was this Challenger Tank:

Challenger was the British M.B.T. during the 80's to early 2000's & played an important role in both Gulf Wars..

.. this is the only one in private ownership & it's the first time I've seen one outside of a museum & actually (so to speak) in "action", it's a most impressive vehicle with a decent turn of speed:

Dating from the same period of time (in fact they're still in frontline service), mainstay of the British Army: The Scimitar armoured reconnaissance vehicle..

.. it's small size, affordability & road legal status make this a popular purchase for military vehicle enthusiasts.

This metal "fencing" was, an upgrade, to protect against R.P.G's.
A real Cold War warrior, the FV432 A.P.C.

Something a bit more exotic: The Shadow

The Shadow was a prototype built, by the Alvis company, for testing by the British Army.. essentially it was a copy of the Hummer.
"Special Forces" display setup outside of a representation of the gates of Camp Bastion:

Replica of the kind of pic-up trucks used, by private military contractors, in places such as Afghanistan & Iraq:

Off to Mogadishu next...
