Post Re: G.I.JOE GENERAL DISCUSSION
So i was tooling around on ebay today looking to get a couple of POC cobras still in the package to hang on my wall. And, possibly pick something up for the summer dio contest. I was wanting to get 'Shadow Tracker'. To my massive surprise this figure is going for around $60!!!! Is it just me being surprised or has this figure been this high for a long time?

wow I had no idea. I grabbed him retail and opened same day. I think that adds up. Shadowtracker was not only one of the most unique and coolest figure of the POC line, but one of the first NEW characters in ages.

I still say POC is the greatest modern joe line so far. Bad ass gear, great arah throwback characters like low light , Sci fi, and lifeline AND some great vehicles too

I have an opened one in my joe bin, but i have no place for anything i can't hang on a wall right now so i was trying to find one carded to hang up and enjoy. I was also looking at that POC firefly and its going for around $20. I guess joes have just gone up.

I have a lot of loose Funskool figures, and i used to have some carded ones. They are really hard to keep carded because the glue they use to put the bubbles on is cheap and the cards are very thin. BUT, if you put them in a star case they should be fine.

If you have any POC extras on the card i might be interested.

1990, although i could say anything from 87-91 is my favorite. First figure i got in 1990 was Night Creeper, totally awesome, hung it on my desk at school for a week every day while did my work. Then in 1991 first figure i wanted was Crimson Guard Immortal, but my brother snagged it, so i got General Hawk. Played the crap out of that figure, i think i have 3 of that figure now....lol. Course my first store bought figure was 1989 Python Officer. Still want to army build him, but they are so dang expensive. One day before long i am going to get one to keep MOC. Then there was 88, my first figure from 1988 was a second hand Storm Shadow no weapons. Soo, i saved some of those plastic swords they put in the pickles at restaurants and used them for weapons. This was early 1989 i think. Main thing i remember was that my base always had an force field that nothing could go through.

My first joes i owned were around 88-89 time frame but they were all second hand. There was an older kid at our school that was selling his collection so he could save money for a car. I got Cobra Officer, Tomax, Major Bludd with a replacement leg that was not his original. Added those to the new figures i bought at the time Python Officer and my second new figure was 1989 Alley Viper. It was around that same time that I got my first G.I.Joe vehicle which was the Fang II. Still love that thing. I am pretty sure my first new figure in 1990 was Free Fall. Not sure why i didn't pick captain grid iron, i don't remember seeing him around a lot. Where we lived there were TONS of Topside, he was a major peg warmer down here.
