SyFy has released a new trailer today for their upcoming Superman origins series, 'Krypton'. This is the first full trailer for the show which gives us a good look at how things are going to role out once the show debuts. Check out the trailer in the player below and share your thoughts!

Set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet, Krypton follows Superman’s grandfather (Cameron Cuffe, The Halcyon) — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos. The Seg-El name is both a nod to Superman co-creator Jerry Siegel and a reference to John Byrne’s 1980s miniseries, “The World of Krypton.” Cameron Cuffe is set to play Seg-El along with Georgina Campbell as Lyta Zod.

Krypton stars Cameron Cuffe, Georgina Campbell, Elliot Cowan, Ann Ogbomo, Rasmus Hardiker, Wallis Day, Aaron Pierre, Ian McElhinney, and Shaun SIpos.

That looks pretty good actually. I get a “Gotham” feel from it.

I know the feeling. I have so many shows I need to watch yet with out adding more. BUT I HAVE DC FEVER!!

Im really stoked because its 'Superman' which is my favorite. And, its going to be airing over the summer because it doesn't debut until March 21st so most of the other shows will be wrapping up or over for the season by then.

Yeah being a summer show will help it’s chances for sure. My fall season tv plate is full.... thank u CW hahahaha
