Outback's Outpost 'MOTU Battle Cat' By Mitchell Smith!
Welcome to the Outpost. Today i have a Monday special. Over the weekend I found the new MOTU Retro Battle Cat
. I was not into the figures as a kid but I came across some figures in my basement when I bought my house 5 years ago, sadly Cringer ended up in the garbage, so when I saw this I grabbed it partially because of that reason. This is a really cool figure. I was surprised at the articulation. Each leg has numerous points of articulation and can pose in many positions.
The tail spins and has up and down motion to pose it in many different positions as well. The head and neck has really nice articulation and can be put up, down, tilted, side to side, really there was a ton of thought put into the articulation. They even have his mouth that can be closed or open for a loud roaring battle call. The figure also has his signature saddle and head piece. If there is anything to complain about on this figure it’s the head piece. It's not secured and may come loose while changing poses, but that is minor. It does stay in place once you get the pose you want so scratch that no complaints.
I was very impressed with this figure and surprised at the amount of articulation on him. I only hope they can put out a 6 inch Timber with this kind of articulation. That would be gold. Who has found the Battle Cat
? Do you agree how awesome this figure is? Sound off below and let us know! Make sure to check back for our next discussion.
